About Alexandra Vivès
Osteopath D.O. specialised in women's health in Aix-en-Provence and Cadenet. Practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine (acupuncture) and teacher of prenatal and fertility yoga.
A calling: women’s health
As an osteopath D.O., I have chosen to specialise my practice in women’s health. A woman’s body goes through major physiological phases, the cycle, trying to conceive, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, that call for careful attention, appropriate techniques and long-term support. This specialisation is the result of years of training and of listening to my patients, in Aix-en-Provence as in Cadenet.
Three complementary practices
Beyond osteopathy, I practise two other disciplines that feed into one another to offer truly whole-person care.
Osteopathy D.O., my main practice
Practising osteopathy in France requires recognised training of at least 4,860 hours over five years, leading to the Diploma in Osteopathy (D.O.). I have built on this foundation with specific training in perinatal and gynaecological-obstetric osteopathy, so as to support each stage of a woman’s journey with precision.
Traditional Chinese medicine
As a practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine, I use these tools alongside osteopathy. They are particularly valuable in supporting fertility, cycle disorders, pelvic pain and overall wellbeing.

Yoga, fertility and prenatal
As a yoga teacher trained in the specifics of fertility and pregnancy, I offer sessions and resources to support your journey alongside your care at the practice. Prenatal yoga is a wonderful tool for preparing body and mind for birth; fertility yoga works on the suppleness of the pelvis, the breath and the balance of the nervous system.
My approach: gentle, holistic, integrated
My conviction: the body has a natural capacity for self-regulation, which my different practices support and stimulate. Depending on your goal, your concern and the moment in your life, I draw on these three fields, gentle osteopathic manipulations, acupuncture points, yoga postures, breathing, to build care that is genuinely tailored to you.
A long-term commitment
My patients consult me at different times: when preparing for a pregnancy, for monthly follow-up during pregnancy, in the weeks after giving birth, or throughout life for cycle disorders, pelvic pain or endometriosis. This continuity is precious: it allows me to know your constitution and to adjust the care to your rhythm.
Two practices at your disposal
To stay close to my patients, I see you in two complementary locations: in Aix-en-Provence, and in Cadenet, at the Résidence les Pinèdes. Booking takes just a few clicks on Doctolib.
